Role Overview
CST Training is seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to lead and be accountable for every aspect of our wide range ofcourses which are delivered remotely and in a range of settings and locations. A passion for quality and innovation is essential. An ability to operate and work effectively at a hands-on and strategic level is vital.
You'll be joining our brand-new office in Dartford, marking an exciting expansion in our company's ongoing growth journey. This isn't merely a new location, but a significant milestone in our commitment to broaden our reach and enhance our services.
More importantly, you'll be a vital part of a brand-new team being assembled specifically for this office.
Specific Role Requirements
● To fulfil the day to day administration requirements of the role the ability to work in a methodical, accurate and timely manner is essential. The role will involve daily tasks such as, but not limited to, data entry to support and ensure comprehensive records are kept which are timely, accurate, robust and accessible to others in the organisation for the purposes of planning and reporting. Previous experience in this area is essential.
● To support the above requirement proficiency in, and exceptional understanding of, and commitment to, the use of technology is essential. This will involve the use of a variety of IT systems and programmes to include but not limited to Databases, CRM (Hub Spot), Excel, Word and G-Suite Exceptional.
● Excellent time management skills, evidence that you have the skills to turnaround communications to the customer (candidate,/tutor/ assessor) in a timely manner.
● Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail and quality.
● Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to clearly communicate processes, expectations and goals to all stakeholders.
● An understanding and commitment to the principles of effective training, development and assessment.
● Previous experience of setting up, establishing, scheduling and ensuring profitability of all courses.
● Ensure adequate resources, both human and physical are available for all courses. Locating venues and recruiting tutors when necessary.
● Familiarity with the processes necessary when cancelling courses.
● Liaising with tutors regularly with particular emphasis on course management and quality.
● A self-starter who is comfortable reviewing complex information from multiple sources and explaining it in simple terms. Managing multiple projects concurrently and working to tight deadlines.
● An ability to work in an approachable and empathetic manner. Experience of effective conflict resolution with regard to workplace challenges.
● The ability to think, process and react quickly and efficiently. You will need to be able to strategise and make decisions based on an individual situation rather than adhering to a strict protocol.
● Flexibility and creativity in relation to problem solving. An ability to embrace and adapt to change and encourage others to do likewise.
● Knowledge of the construction industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
