Vision for Education is working with a client school in Scarborough to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Early Years Foundation Stage/Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join their team.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT or ECT to begin their teaching career in a supportive and welcoming school community.

As the EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality teaching and learning that supports the progress and development of all pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. You will work closely with other members of the teaching team to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that meets the needs of all learners. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, and for contributing to the wider life of the school.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Early Years Foundation Stage / Key Stage 1 Class Teacher you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, and a commitment to supporting pupils' progress and achievement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • For NQTs/ECTs: evidence of successful completion of teacher training, or a strong potential to meet the Teachers' Standards.
