As a Transport Inspector (Health &Safety) which is known internally to LCC as Officer Fieldwork you will be focusing on the delivery of transport solutions for passengers, across Lincolnshire, accessing Education, Social Care and Demand Responsive Transport. This will take the form of:
A background in Health & Safety/Risk Assessment is desirable, but not essential because full training will be given.
Extensive travel across the county is expected for the successful applicant to undertake the role, you will therefore need to hold a valid UK Driving License and access to a suitable vehicle. Travel expenses will be paid. Your work base will be Lincoln, though a hybrid approach to working, is in operation.
There will be times when early starts are required for some of the inspections.

The team also manages the county’s local bus and community transport network, alongside supporting the development of Sustainable Travel.
