The Role
Reporting to the Technical Solutions Director, the Senior Technical Architect will be responsible for the successful scoping and design of solutions for our clients. As a senior member of the team, they will provide support and guidance to junior team members and non-technical staff on relevant technologies and solutions.
Working with Account Management and New Business Teams to scope solutions for potential and existing clients ensuring that razorblue’s key quality and technical excellence values are upheld.
Providing detailed technical solution detail to the Account Management and New Business Teams to produce a SoW and subsequently reviewing and signing off SoWs for accuracy and completeness prior to submission by the AM to the client.
Working with the other Technical Architects completing Research and Development of new products and solutions to maintain the company’s technical excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Solution Design, Planning and Architecture (50%)
  • Attend client meetings to discuss technical requirements
  • Design technical solutions based on customer requirements for a project
  • Produce technical solution design for Account Managers
  • Sign off completed SoWs
Technical Solution Delivery (30%)
  • Delivering consulting to our customers
  • Training customers on implemented solutions
  • Acting as the technical lead on complex solutions
  • Completing documentation for delivered solutions
R&D (20%)
  • Researching and testing new solutions
  • Assist commercial team with pricing of new solutions
  • Attending appropriate vendor events
  • Host internal training
  • Obtaining and maintaining certifications
All candidates must possess:
Qualification
  • Must hold Full UK Driving Licence
  • Relevant networking qualifications
  • Relevant infrastructure qualifications
Experience
  • Microsoft Stack experience including Office 365 experience
  • Windows Server installation & configuration
  • Virtualisation
  • Backup Solutions
  • Networking – Installations & troubleshooting
  • VoIP telephony – Installations & troubleshooting
  • Advanced Networking and Routing – Extensive knowledge and experience including MPLS/BGP/OSPF
  • Cloud Platforms – Experience with private & public cloud such as AWS & Azure
  • Security – Experience with MDM, MFA, Email filtering, Next generation firewalls & Anti-Virus solutions
  • A strong understanding of razorblue's business, processes and procedures

Knowledge (Desirable)
To be knowledgeable across a wide range in technologies including WAN, LAN, Cloud computing, virtual and physical hardware, switches, routers, and SAN technologies. The ability to use these skills to solve problems and to deliver the best possible solutions for clients is essential. Extensive networking knowledge including protocols such as MPLS/BGP/OSPF.
The ability to understand complex problems and use the tools and resources available to create utilising a strong understanding of razorblue's business, processes, procedures and client information.
Senior Technical Architect total package
  • Total base salary up to £55,000
