Are you interested in making a difference in a young person's life and helping to shape their future? Are you caring, resilient and passionate about helping in others, if so we might just have the perfect role for you!! We are looking to add 2 x support workers to join our existing fantastic team.

Based in our therapeutic homes in Birmingham where we care for up to 3 young people aged 7-18, you will have the potential to help them achieve positive outcomes and really enrich their lives with your care and support.

Some of our young people have suffered some form of early life trauma so we require you to have a patient and understanding nature and a genuine will to really make a difference in their lives.

This role is unique in the fact that no two days are the same, you role will include building positive relationships with the young people and team members, household duties, administering medication, attending meetings and liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure the young people feel supported at all times.

Ideally all applicants will have some experience working with young people in a care setting, or a mentor role, we are also happy to consider candidates who have worked in care in some capacity.

Shifts will be a mix of early, late and sleeps, as the home is operational 24 hours you must be flexible and willing to work some weekends and bank holidays.

Salary for the role is up to £28,500 based on experience, we also offer a host of benefits including, company pension, team awards, regular pay reviews and store discounts and access to our therapeutic services.

Licence/Certification:

  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
