Brook Street Recruitment delighted to be assisting our Belfast city centre client with the recruitment of a Full Time Permanent Legal Secretary

The candidate hired will report to the Legal Secretarial Coordinator and Partner and is responsible for supporting the fee earners with daily administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Managing documentation to include scanning and printing of documents, e-filing and updating of fee earner file
General administration to include Mimecast, diary planning, booking meetings, emails and opening and closing file
Adhering to all manual and electronic filing system
Dealing with telephone calls and assisting client
Researching and summarising legal information
Issuing correspondence
Amending large document
Assisting relevant fee earners in the conduct of files as required
Billing

Experience:
Essential - at least 1 year's experience in a similar legal secretarial role
Essential - Must be currently working in a busy legal role or professional services environment
Desirable - secretarial qualification

Skills & Abilities:
Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise work and meet target deadlines under time constraints.
The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Excellent knowledge of PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential, with the ability to format.
Strong communication skills and be able to take direction.
Strong precision and accuracy skills.

Salary will circa 25k per annum - There is a hybrid approach with the role with the view that at least 60% of your time is spent in the office
