Client Service Delivery Specialist – Broker Support- Terrorism

AON Political Violence team are part AON GBC, a wholesale Broking unit, providing solutions for our Global retail networks. Working within the Political Violence CSD team, you will be responsible for providing Broker support to the Brokers and working with our other stakeholders. Duties will include;
Day to day client servicing from initial submission of risks to hand over to technical team for invoicing, including;
Client onboarding and setting up client records
Reviewing client submissions with the brokers, to understand the clients and Brokers needs.
Preparing Open Market Reform Contracts, for Renewal and New Business, using templates, but with the ability to adapt and bespoke to meet the Broker’s needs.
Ability to interpret post bind requests for adjustments, from client and insurers, and endorsing the contracts as necessary
Creation of Tax Schedules using TMF IPT quote and other available resources.
Assisting with tax questions.
Assisting with PPL submissions.
Providing a post bind check of signed MRC’s, before sending the policy to the Offshore technical team for invoicing.
Working with our Offshore technical team to ensure timely production of invoices, answering any queries and providing a quality control before sending invoices to the brokers / clients as required.
Ensuring money is settled to insurers; working with our Accounts team to resolve any cash issues and chasing debt. liaising with our Offshore technical team on bureau related queries holding up payment.
Using our offshore technical resource, to assist with the above tasks.
Ensure compliance with departmental procedures, internal service standards and the FCA, ensuring Contract Certainty
Work closely with brokers for the day-to-day management of accounts.
Handling your own workload, with multiple brokers, prioritising accounts and tasks within busy month/quarter end periods, and communicating with the Brokers and other partners on progress.
Diary subjectivities/premium payment warranties and conditions and liaise with client and Broker to ensure they are complied with
Build strong working relationships
Stay ahead of market, regulatory and tax requirements relating to the portfolio in line with individual placements.
Keeping up to date with technical briefings, wordings and issues.
Review internal reports
Undertake any other responsibilities which may become necessary for the proper performance of the role
Provide guidance to less expert members of the Open Market technical team, checking work and providing training where necessary How this opportunity is different

Experience of handling Lloyd’s open market business.
Experience in producing Market Reform Contracts and Endorsements
Can handle own workload, an organised individual who can act independently
Proficient user of Microsoft Office programmes such as Excel.
An understanding of regulatory and tax requirements in the territories concerned, using Crystal and TMF IPT where appropriate
Strong communication skills (including written and verbal (both internally and externally
Use of Electronic Placement systems
Understanding and affinity for relationship building
Ability to work collaboratively with others - strong interpersonal skill
Desirable to have a Terrorism (Political Violence) and/or Property class of business background.
An understanding of TRIA Captive wraps.
