What you’ll be doing…

womanandhome.com is looking for a brilliant Fashion & Beauty news writer to join our UK team. Reporting into the Deputy Digital Editor, the role involves the creation and optimisation of news stories with a fashion and beauty focus and the implementation of affiliate technology within your editorial content.

As well as writing stories commissioned by the Editors on womanandhome.com, the Fashion & Beauty news writer will be expected to generate new ideas for content and write to a high and exacting standard. You will have a strong awareness of global trends and how these can influence the content created, and some understanding of how fashion and beauty news stories can be monetised to generate eComm revenue.

• Experience writing news content with a fashion and beauty focus
• Keen knowledge of products in the fashion and beauty industries
• An ability to deliver the right content and ideas for the brand and affiliate revenue purposes
• Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A great eye for visual presentation and the ability to source the right images to draw people in
• Ability to drive Innovation and creativity
