Reporting to: Director – Marketing and Creative
We have an excellent opportunity for an aspiring junior web developer to join our company’s in-house digital team to continue the growth we’ve achieved in this area during the past six years.
The digital space has become integral to what we do and as such we’re looking for an individual with an interest in coding and a hunger to develop a breadth of skills across both the front and backend of websites.
We are an ambitious full-service sports and fitness focused marketing agency working for a range of organisations across marketing, design, digital and PR and communications.
As a company they’re two primary ways we build our websites. The first using the WordPress CMS, which involves building themes from scratch, customising and creating plugins, or using Elementor to build pages and create our own bespoke custom widgets for dynamic content.
Secondly using the Umbraco CMS built on the Microsoft .NET framework written in C#, which involves developing custom templates from scratch, developing and integrating third-party packages, creating highly customised functionality to meet our unique client requirements.
The role will include the following:
Although the ideal candidate should possess some of the required skills, we encourage candidates who may not have all the necessary skills to apply as long as they are ambitious, eager to learn, and willing to take on new challenges.
You will develop the ability to play a key role in helping shape our future digital work and as such need a proactive attitude to finding new solutions and a desire to take ownership and responsibility for projects.
