Job Title: Web Developer with Automation and HubSpot Expertise

CST Training is a leading training company based in the UK, predominantly serving the construction industry. As part of our strategic expansion, we are undergoing a rebranding process to appeal to a broader range of sectors. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our team to assist in this exciting transformation. The salary would be negotiable for the right candidate.

Role Description:

As a Web Developer at CST Training, you will be instrumental in redeveloping our website to align with our new branding, focusing on creating an appealing and intuitive user experience. This role also includes enhancing our online ecommerce store and building new internal systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Redevelop and maintain the CST Training website to reflect the new branding, ensuring it appeals to a wider range of sectors.

Implement best practices in user experience and web design across the website and our online ecommerce store.

Integrate and manage our website with HubSpot, including automation of marketing, sales, and customer service processes.

Utilize tools such as Zapier to automate various tasks and processes.

Collaborate with our marketing team and brand designer to ensure brand consistency.

Post-website redevelopment, focus on the implementation of automation and building new internal systems to optimize our operational efficiency.

Participate in the development and launch of new business ideas and sub-brands.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in web development and design.

Strong knowledge of HubSpot, including its integration and automation capabilities.

Experience with automation tools such as Zapier.

Proficiency in user experience design and best practices.

Experience in ecommerce store development and optimization.

Strong team collaboration skills, as you will be working closely with our marketing team and brand designer.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Coding Languages & Technologies:

As a Web Developer at CST Training, your role would involve working with the following coding languages and technologies:

HTML/CSS: These are the building blocks of web development. HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is used for creating web pages and web applications. CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a style-sheet language used for describing the look and formatting of a document written in HTML.

JavaScript: This is essential for creating interactive elements on our website, enhancing the user experience. Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js will be beneficial.

Python or Ruby: These are server-side languages. Experience with one of these would be necessary for backend development. Familiarity with frameworks like Django for Python or Rails for Ruby is desirable.

SQL: This is used to communicate with databases. Proficiency in SQL will allow you to effectively manage and manipulate our database.

PHP: This is another server-side scripting language, often used for web development. Knowledge of PHP could be useful, especially if our website is built on a CMS like WordPress.

HubSpot CMS Hub: Familiarity with HubSpot CMS Hub will be crucial as our website will be integrated with HubSpot for automating marketing, sales, and customer service processes.
