Job Description

• Designs and develops web interfaces for relational database systems.
• Establishes methods to ensure appropriate website security and recovery.
• Writes and publishes content for the website.
• Meeting with clients to discuss requirements and/or project progress.
• Demonstrating and receiving feedback about draft sites
• Keeping up to date with recent technological and software developments
• Developing skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages including Html, Java script and other software.
• Tests website interaction and performance prior to going ‘live’ also monitor and maintains functionality of the website.
• Producing products that are user-friendly, effective, and appealing.
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Writing and editing content through Content Management System
• Designing webpage layout
• Determining technical requirements
• Updating websites and Search Engine Optimisation
• Creating back up files
• Solving code problems & debugging
• Activating the ‘live’ websites
• Producing sample sites
• Fundamentals of design imaging
• Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to technical problems.
