An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Plumbing Trainer to join the apprenticeship department at Barnsley College. The team works with a wide range of employers to develop their Apprentices knowledge, skills and behaviours to enable them to succeed and progress within their chosen occupation/workplace. We are looking for a Plumbing Trainer that demonstrates both a learner and employer focus and is determined to ensure Apprentices achieve their full potential.
Your role will involve the planning, co-ordination, delivery, assessment and review of the learning activities associated with Apprenticeships, including preparation for end-point assessment (EPA), monitoring ‘off the job training’ and ensuring regular contact with employers. Ideally you will have previous knowledge and experience of Apprenticeships and a passion to transform lives and make a difference.
We offer flexible working and autonomy to plan in your own site visits and observations in the workplace. Mileage costs are covered by the College.
