Trafford Children Services is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join their Children with Disabilities Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the re-design of the service, led by a dedicated Head of Service in collaboration with key partners and stakeholders. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting and driving social work practice across the service, while holding a small caseload for a competitive salary of £40 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and intervention to children with complex needs and disabilities, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive outcomes.
• Contribute to the ongoing re-design of the service, utilising your experience and knowledge to shape effective interventions and practices.
• Maintain high-quality case management, ensuring accurate records, assessments, and plans are in place.
• Work closely with Practice Managers and the Head of Service to ensure a supportive and effective working environment.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with complex needs and disabilities, demonstrating a strong understanding of additional needs.
• 2 years post qualifying experience
• SWE registered
