• You act as the first point of contact to the customer with interfaces to development, sales, production and QA.
• You improve customer satisfaction by being present at the customer's site (press runs/trials) and improving the quality of support.
• You reduce technical and quality issues with customers by resolving them cooperatively.
• Handling of complaints together with the customer and the internal interfaces (quality, planning and key account manager).
• You monitor the account by relevant KPI and contributing to the definition of countermeasures in case of deviations from the target.
• You support the development engineers in the industrialization of innovation projects and product transfers between plants and/or production lines.
• You also support the Key Accounts Team for quotations and daily matters
• Monitoring of market and customer activities in the field of automotive structures.

• You hold a university degree in engineering with solid technical affinity.
• You bring minimum 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in the automotive environment with OEMs, Tier 1/2 or similar experience as field application engineer.
• You have a detailed technical understanding of Automotive production; Press shop and assembly line are a plus
• Strong communication skills including presentations skills characterize you
• Entrepreneurial thinking, open minded, customer focused and oriented and conflict resolving belong to your strengths
• You have the expertise to work with cross functional and multicultural teams in an organizational matrix structure.
• You are willing to travel frequently (approx. 50%) to customers and production plants mainly within UK
