Protocol Education are looking for an outstanding teacher to join a Drama department in September 2023 on a long term basis. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across KS3 and KS4 and will be part of the wider Performing Arts Faculty. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers or ECTs. The School offers an excellent ECT induction programme.

You will be a qualified teacher with an extensive and varied set of teaching and presentation skills. You will possess a strong academic background and a high-level knowledge of your subject area, pairing this with an excellent track record of Drama teaching at secondary level as well as experience of teaching Drama at GCSE and A level.

Main Areas of Responsibility

The purpose of your role will be:

  • To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor
  • To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
  • To contribute to raising standards of student attainment
