The role


We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Senior Tenancy and Leasehold Manager.

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing 5 patch based Housing officers and will work in the Resident Management team.
  • Being responsible for dealing with any queries from residents on a particular neighbourhood area from all leaseholders, shared owners and social tenants that are too complex to handle in the Customer Service Centre.
  • Carrying out any home visits, site visits or office appointments to meet residents as required by any policy or process or agreed by the manager.
  • Line management of 5 Tenancy and Leasehold Managers which will include regular 121’s, supervision and training.

What you will need to succeed

The successful candidate will:

  • Possess experience in a similar role within social housing.
  • Have experience of managing a team.
  • Possess understanding and knowledge statutory, legal and contractual framework around tenancy, homeowners and shared owners’ management
  • Be able to resolve residents’ queries for either homeowners or tenants or both.
  • Be dealing with complex queries and challenging individuals in a constructive and effective way.
  • Have excellent customer care and communication skills both oral and written.
  • Have the ability to build excellent relationships across the business with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Be IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft office applications and ability to learn and use appropriate in-house systems.
  • Be self-motivated, assertive and confident.
