At Securitas we guard and protect a variety of clients across the globe, ranging from banks, retail chains, leisure venues and corporate offices.

We are looking for an experienced Security professional to join us as a Security Supervisor.

4on 4off days only

07:00am to 19:00pm

Average hours per week: 42

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop, monitor and update the Security Technician site visit routes.
• Manage the Security mailbox and allocate tasks to the Security Technicians.
• Centrally collate information pertaining to Security Technician annual leave/sickness and monthly reports. Rostering and forward planning.
• Produce reports relating to security events, trends and activity.
• Conduct physical site security checks in the absence of the Security Technicians.
• Deliver training on security systems (following the required Train the Trainer training.
• Maintaining positive employee relations and ensuring coaching, counselling and any investigations are implemented in line with company policy.
• Monitoring and managing the appearance and behaviours of all Security personnel.
• Encourage staff recognition and staff nominations for awards.
• All incidents are reported in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures.
• Monitor faults with security related equipment, ensuring they are reported correctly.
• Be fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems.
• Participate in any arranged company training to improve standards of performance.
• To be the first point of contact on their shift for security function related queries.

Essential Skills

• SIA license
• Full UK driving license
• Must be computer literate with experience with all Microsoft Office packages
• Security experience
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and customer focus
