Established in 2009, Tremayne Distributions Ltd is a fast growing and successful company. With a large fleet of vehicles, the company operates bespoke overnight & same day courier services, delivering throughout the UK and sometimes to mainland Europe. Although primarily based in the South East, Tremayne Distributions Ltd has a comprehensive client base who need services throughout the UK and therefore there is a requirement for drivers based in all regions of the country.

We have a fantastic opportunity for Self-Employed Delivery Drivers to join our wonderful team. This position offers variety, keeping each day fresh and new for all. Each job varies in requirements from something as small as an envelope up to 6 pallets, We will provide you with Vehicle, Fuel card and Uniform.

Hours of Work:

· Although this is a variable hours position, most drivers work between 40 and 60 hours per week calculated from a specified start point to returning home.

· We load our vans between 0400 and 0800 in the morning depending on where the deliveries / collections are in the country to achieve our clients’ deadlines.

Duties Include:

• Delivering in Nationwide.
• Collecting and delivering urgent parcels, pallets, boxes or documents.
• Following company procedure with every delivery to ensure safety and excellent Customer Service.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must have good time keeping skills.
• Must be physically fit as this job may require heavy lifting.
• Must be able to work to tight deadlines and independently.
• Must be able to use and read/follow a good satellite navigation system.
• No experience required but candidate must be motivated to learn all aspects of what is required to fulfil the role.
• Good geographical knowledge
• And a can-do attitude.

Salary:

• £100 - £160 a day
• Payment fortnightly, in arrears.

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Driving: 2 years (preferred)
