Infrastructure Release Engineer - Huddersfield (45-50K) hybrid
My client who are looking for an Infrastructure Release Engineer to join their team providing IT Support and Network support to the company. The candidate will need to be based in Huddersfield as that is where their office is based. This is a hybrid role.
The principal duty of the role is to manage the day to day administration and performance of the server and network infrastructure. You will be provide remote incident support to our customers and provide technical support both over the phone and via email.
Skills
Centos & Oracle Linux experience
Experience of managing databases
Tomcat/Glassfish(desirable) management & configuration & installation
Shell scripting experience - CURL, PHP, Python, bash etc
Release oracle scripts dev to live
Installation Tomcat/webserver/Linux
Configure iptables/firewall
Monitoring infrastructure and correcting any issues with performance and availability
Assisting and supporting DBA function
Experience of working with multiple SSL setup in Tomcat
Backups
Experience -
Strong knowledge of business concepts and principles
Proven business integration skills
Proven analytical skills
Proven project management skills
Experience of time-critical implementations requiring a sense of urgency necessary to meet objectives and deadlines
Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical personnel of varied backgrounds and management levels.
Full UK driving license is required for this role
