Fully qualified Mobile Transport Refrigeration Engineer

Earning potential £34,320 to £65,000 + Benefits, further details available upon request

£16.50 per hr plus £1.50 per hr bonus if all criteria met.

Immediate start

We currently require experienced Transport Refrigeration Engineers to join our East Midlands team to cover the Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and surrounding geographical areas.

The successful candidates should have a full UK driving licence, C&G F Gas 2079 certification and at least 2 years’ experience working on transport refrigeration systems. Experience with Carrier Transicold product would be advantageous but not essential as full factory & in-house training will be provided.

The Role:

· Responsibility for routine servicing and repairs as required, mechanical fault finding, electrics and all other duties associated with this role.

· Completing all work assigned daily, ensuring that adherence to company and manufacturer standards and agreed time constraints.

· Ensuring that work is always to the highest standard, seeking to achieve consistently high customer satisfaction and repeat business

· Maintain levels of stock on their van to agreed specification.

· Confident in the use of PCs and mobile phones

· Able to prioritise and organise workload to achieve set deadlines and KPIs

· Willing to work in areas outside main district as and when required

· Presenting a positive company image through professionalism and quality of service

· Maintain good working relationship with clients

· Managing and prioritising jobs and workloads, scheduling, completing electronic paperwork and communicating with managers and senior-level staff members as appropriate.

· The ideal candidate will:

· Be an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player

· Qualified to work on Carrier, Thermoking, Hubbard, GAH plus others as required

· Work to high levels of efficiency and productivity on own and as part of a team

· Qualified to City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Cat 1

· Be prepared to work on a call on a rota basis 24/7 365

· Basic hours will be 8 hours per day plus overtime
