There is an exciting opportunity for two motivated and enthusiastic qualified nurses to join the Ashfield Healthy Family Teams.
You will work in community settings, Health Centres, Schools, Childrens Centres and client's homes to deliver the Universal Healthy Child Programme and Tier 1 targeted health services to the local 0-19 ages population.
Our teams work to an integrated 0-19 public health agenda. The team comprises Specialist Public Health Practitioners who lead the teams of Public Health Practitioners, Assistant Public Health Practitioners, Healthy Child Assistants and Screening Assistants in the delivery of a universal and targeted 0-19 Healthy Child and Public Health Nursing Programme. We work in partnership with local Children's Centres to promote health and you will contribute to tackling health inequalities within the level of competencies required for the post.
It is envisaged that the successful applicant will have the opportunity in the future to apply for the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse degree.
Job Type: Permanent - Part Time. Working Hours: 16.25Hrs per week, 3.25Hrs per day, Monday to Friday - 15:30Hrs to 18:45Hrs.
