Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new "Towards 2030" strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.

Following the ongoing expansion of the University of Cumbria Project Academy we are seeking to recruit a Degree Apprenticeship Personal Tutor/Tripartite Reviewer to join our growing academic, CPD and apprenticeship delivery team.

The success of the Project Academy for Sellafield and our work with other employers such as BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce have led to project management contracts with a growing range of employers such as NHS Trusts and local authorities, as well as a number of other private and third sector employers. We are looking to further develop and grow our activity, working with a wider range of employers. *Whilst the main base of our activity will remain in Cumbria and the North West, we are working to establish relationships with employers across the country.

We are seeking innovative, creative, high quality individuals to foster a culture of progression with our work based learning apprenticeships that generates recognition, respect and engagement from our employer partners. Working as part of a team delivering high quality degree apprenticeship provision on the Integrated Project Manager Degree Apprenticeship, the post holder will provide support, advice and guidance to degree apprentices, occasionally visit degree apprentices in the workplace, conduct tripartite reviews with the employee and their employer, act as first point of contact for the apprenticeship learners and assist apprentices with their personal and professional development.

Informal enquiries: Charles Dobson | Principal Lecturer in Project Management and Industrial Skills | charles.dobson@cumbria.ac.uk

We offer a comprehensive set of staff benefits which includes a competitive salary, 35 hour working week, 33 days holiday plus bank holidays, hybrid working in line with business need, excellent pension scheme with 8% employer contribution.
