Your activities will cover all areas of the product lifecycles, from future concepts, detailed design and qualification to production and support. There may be some national and international travel and plenty of opportunities for personal development, including Chartership and Professional Accreditation.

About You:

• Able to gain UK Security Clearance
• Ideally Degree/HND/HNC qualified
• Experience in Mechanical Design and Development in one of the following areas; Mechanisms, Structures, Assembly and Integration, Concept down selection and development
• The ability to lead, as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Awareness of proving and qualification activities to ensure compliance
• Robust design experience across the product lifecycle (CADMID)
• Excellent communicator
• Experience with suppliers
• An understanding of structural/thermal/dynamic analysis would be a bonus
• 3D CAD/CAE experience
