Job Title: Parts Advisor
Location: Pulborough, RH20 1AS
Salary: Up to £28,000 (depending on experience) + bonus – OTE £35,000

Our client is an automotive retailer representing prestigious car Brands, they have a total of 30 businesses providing sales, service and accident repair services across Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire.
Established in 1931, they are a successful and progressive third-generation family-owned business.
They are now actively looking to recruit a Parts Advisor for their prestigious car dealership site in Pulborough, RH20 1AS.
JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Parts Advisor is to:
Source and supply manufacturer vehicle parts efficiently for customers and workshop vehicles, meeting agreed on sales volume targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, record and bin parts and consumables from manufacturers and other suppliers ensuring the accuracy of stock deliveries against agreed orders.
- Identify, locate, invoice and issue parts and consumables to customers and other departments using the computer system.
- Proactively source parts.
- Supply accurate and detailed parts quotations to internal departments, and retail and trade customers.
- Administer parts invoices ensuring invoiced items are allocated correctly.
- Manage and control all parts administration requirements.
- Maintain standards in line with brand standards requirements.
- Maintain relevant systems always ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the business.
Skills & Requirements:
Essential:
- Understanding of basic vehicle design, function and location of parts.
- Technical qualification or proven experience working with vehicle parts.
- Attention to detail and maintaining a good, accurate quality of work.
- Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT.
- Able to plan, organize and meet agreed work deadlines.
- Energy and enthusiasm.
- Smart appearance.
