There is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual interested in working with families and children

To work within a multidisciplinary team offering full comprehensive assessments and interventions in a range of settings, and evaluate the mental health care to children, young people and their families who are on the waiting list for other services or who need some extra support in line with local and national guidelines.

The hours of the RAIS/CASHER team can vary to include mornings, afternoons, evenings and the hours will include overnights as well. They may also include weekends

To provide regular and on-going consultation, joint work, training and advice to other agency staff in relation to child and adolescent / younger persons mental health services to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.

Assess young people and families with mental health difficulties

Provide Interventions for young people with mental health difficulties whilst they are on the waiting list for another service

Provide intensive support as frequent as is needed

Work flexible hours to fit the need of the service

CASHER shifts will be available and overnight shifts will be expected to be carried out

Work alongside the local CAMHS services and Youtherapy to support young people with complex needs

Work alongside schools and families to get the best outcome for young people

To support and help junior members of staff to develop their skill
