Express Taxis is the largest and busiest taxi company in the Falkirk district and we are a local family run company working for and trusted by our community for over 60 years.

We are currently hiring for a full time car mechanic to join our team.

Depending on your skill level, the role will include:

✅ Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance on our fleet of vehicles which will include both minor and major mechanical work.

✅ Completing major electrical and engine repair work

✅ Carry out road tests after work complete

✅ Using diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the make and model of the vehicle

✅ The ability to complete vehicle health check to council standards

The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge to allow them to confidently and safely carry our repairs and maintenance on our vehicles. They should also demonstrate capability and confidence in our systems and equipment within the workshop. The ability to work as part of a team is also essential for this role. The candidate should also be qualified by experience in post vehicle maintenance and repair.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Salary: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
