Job Description

Adecco Northumberland are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer for their client based in Cramlington.

Role Description:
  • Report directly to the Engineering Manager and will work with all aspects of new product and process development and existing process improvement.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
  • Contributing to feasibility reviews.
  • Analyzing existing processes and evaluating potential improvements.
  • Creation and amendment of process control sheets.
  • Any other reasonable duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the business.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in an engineering discipline (Mechanical preferable) Ideal for a Graduate engineer.
  • 3-5-year Experience in a Manufacturing role preferred.
  • CAD skills (Solid works, Fusion360 or similar).
  • Good knowledge of new products in development and their tooling and machining requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make considered decisions and to communicate them effectively.
  • PC literate - Microsoft word, excel etc.
  • Willingness to take on new tasks and as and when required.
Working Hours - Day shift ONLY
  • Monday - Thursday - 7.00am - 3.30pm
  • Friday - 7.00am - 1.00pm
