As a Senior Verification Integration Lead in our Systems and Software team, you will be contributing to the verification and integration for a large-scale, complex, aircraft power control system for a brand new business jet. You will be passionate about the ‘’big system picture’’ and enjoy working across different engineering disciplines, bringing together mechanical, hardware and software teams, as well as considering safety, reliability and production aspects of the product.

Job Description

You will leverage your experience of the Systems Engineering lifecycle to enable the teams to deliver all aspects of the system verification; from creating high-quality verification artefacts aligned to Customer needs and system requirements. You will have a strong Customer focus and be committed to developing a mutually beneficial relationship with a brand-new customer! The project is now integrating the prototype hardware and software into our labs, and you will be supporting this all the way towards formal verification and eventually to the flight test campaign! So this is an exciting time for the right candidate with integration experience to join the team!

Essential Responsibilities

• Agree scope of verification for all aspects of Systems, Software and Hardware Verification with internal and external customers for key project milestones

• Identification and development of key verification deliverables as mandated by Systems, Hardware and Software development plans

• Responsible for leading the evaluation of technical content of verification deliverables to ensure it meets Certification basis and verification coverage

• You will effectively collaborate with the Customer and other engineering teams to ensure that all product milestones and deliverables are effectively met.

• With your focus on integration, you would be assisting in effective de-bug of systems issues working with the engineering teams and the Customer, and this could be at a sub-system level or at an aircraft-level

• You will be comfortable working with the project and functional leadership on resource demand and supply and supporting with recruitment as required.
• Effective change management and support to project leadership in planning activities is essential.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Demonstrable evidence of leading verification in safety critical systems development and meeting customer milestones
• Previous experience in an aviation, automotive or similar embedded systems development environment working to rigorous standards such as ARP4754A, will confirm your experience of working with complex system designs, for implementation in hardware and software.
• An appropriate degree or HND in Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Physics or similar subject, or equivalent experience, shows a logical mindset, alongside good problem solving and solution building skills.
• Previous experience in managing team-based projects and mentoring and coaching to less experienced staff
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Your existing experience will allow you to contribute to defining or modifying power distribution systems architectures in co-operation with technical leads and with aircraft manufacturers.
