Industry heavy-weight, Rebellion are looking for an experienced Consumer Products Licencing Manager to drive and execute the global licensing strategy in order to generate revenue that will help us achieve our goals.
In this role, you will oversee key elements of global licensing for consumer products, by managing a growing licensed partner portfolio across Rebellion IPs and franchises in games, publishing and entertainment.
Your responsibilities…
- Direct and manage the development, proposing, overseeing and implementation of short and long-term strategies for consumer products and merchandise licensing
- Identify the best new partners and actively pitch their brands within the scope of consumer products and merchandise
- Manage and grow key partnerships with new and current licensing partners
- Oversee contract negotiations, in conjunction with agency partners, across both regional and global deals
- Manage contract execution with the legal team and agencies
- Analyse and understand market trends and consumer, retailer, and industry needs
- Manage day-to-day with licensees for the assigned products, which includes contract negotiation, resolving issues, and promotional and advertising initiatives
- Collaborate with licensees to build line plans, ensuring appropriate SKU count, price point, and brand initiatives are improved
- Collaborate across internal teams to align on priorities, ensure quality, brand consistency, and to ensure product launches are a success with high level of support
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
- Experience in an entertainment, toy, licensing, retail, or consumer product environment
- Demonstrable experience in franchise management and managing a portfolio of brands
- Expertise of developing brand plans with a commercial and strategic understanding
- Experience in pitching brands and product to retailers and licensees
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Licensing Industry knowledge and connections
- Skilled in negotiation and contract management
- Previous experience in the Game, Publishing or Film industry
