Join our Arlington team as a Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our outstanding catering team. The Kitchen Assistant will be essential to upholding Arlington catering and dining standards that we are providing for all our residents.


The role


We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Kitchen Assistant.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Washing up after meals, ensuring all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately, and that the overall cleaning of the kitchen area (and, where appropriate, the dining areas) is carried out effectively.
  • Assisting with the checking and recording of equipment and food temperatures as directed.
  • Supporting the catering staff with service when required.

  • Experience of working in a busy kitchen environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and make quick decisions
  • High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Experience of providing excellent customer service

The offer


10 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday, 2pm to 7pm.

Salary: £11.95 per hour
