IT Support Engineer - York Hybrid (30-40K)

Senitor are pleased to be working with an established tech company in York, in helping them to recruit for a IT / Application Support Engineer on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in providing 1st and 2nd line support as well as a background in supporting bespoke applications and have aroun 4/5 years experience.

Roles and Responsibilities include:
Sorting and maintaining software and applications
Troubleshooting technical issues and escalating queries if required
Hardware configuration/troubleshooting
Upgrading the customers software
Involvement with exciting new projects
Implementing upgrades, fixes and product enhancements (including testing)
Liaise and problem-solve with the Development team and third party suppliers

Key Skills/Experience required includes:
Windows Operating Systems and Servers (2003 - 2019)
Strong database skills (SQL Server, Informix etc)
MS Exchange
Office 365
Networking
Software Application support
Linux
Hyper -V & VMWare
