Job Description

We are currently working with our Alness-based client to find a capable, reliable Hygiene Operative. The successful candidate will support the Hygiene Management Team in the running of a food processing operation using the company's SQPDC (Safety, Quality, People, Delivery & Cost) framework, delivering on the shift's Key Performance Indicator's (KPIs). This role is based between two sites within Alness depending on business requirements.
Reporting to the Hygiene Assistant Manager, your work will be crucial. Keeping all storage and operations area clean, machines operational and sanitised to the highest standards, and anything out of place gets spotted and sorted. Together, you'll be the front line of health & safety.


KEY DUTIES


  • Follow all factory and hygiene standards and procedures, and ensure all work carried out hygienically with finished results to acceptable standards and within time limits of shift. This ranges from ensuring that all chemicals are used and stored in the correct manner, to all hand sanitisers/soaps/paper dispensers are full.
  • To inspect finished works and areas daily, ensuring correct hygiene standards achieved, re-hygiene as required any fails in items/areas, and complete re-hygiene of all fails and appropriate paperwork within shift time limits.
- Adhering to the highest of health & safety standards from chemical handling to keeping all PPE looked after and in good condition - and ensuring other members of the team do so as well.
  • To undertake any reasonable request by a line manager, in assisting in the manufacturing process
