Grounds Maintenance

National Physical Laboratory, Teddington.

Working Supervisor.

Purpose of Role: To be responsible for Grounds Maintenance Operatives on a daily basis ensuring that all teams are managed, organised and motivated to deliver operations to comply with standards of safety, compliance, customer satisfaction and within productivity and financial targets.

Specific Responsibilities including but not limited to

• Ensure all work is delivered to agreed customer programmes; default free, first time to maximise company performance and reputation.
• Provide monthly contract progress report to customers.
• Manage all operations to external and internal customer standards. – link to customer care.
• Be responsible for continuous personal development for self and team embracing NVQs.
• Ensure core works and vo works are carried out to time, standard and specification and invoiced
• Deliver Health, Safety Environment and Quality improvements and competency developments in line with ISO & company procedures as set out by your line manager

Training/ Skill Requirements

Supervisory Experience(Evidenced)

Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Horticulture or equivalent.

Driving Licence is essential.

Salary

Up to £29K per year depending on experience and qualifications
