Telescopic Forklift Operator

About Us:
The family run firm supplies services to the construction, agricultural and allied trades and takes pride in the quality of its services.

Starting in 1898 as building contractors the company has expanded to include waste disposal, plant and lorry hire, quarry and recycled aggregates, recycled products and we specialise in waste recycling and processing.

The role:
We require a Telescopic Forklift Operator to join our team based in Thornton Recycling Depot.
This role is a Full time, permanent role with overtime available.

Responsibilities include:

• Lifting and moving materials around site.
• Ensuring daily checks are carried out on the machine before operating
• Manoeuvring the machine in a well-managed way.
• Adhere to site Safety
• Working closely alongside other trades and labour.
• Other duties as instructed by a supervisor/manager.

A successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working on the forks.
• CPCS Card and any trade specific qualifications
