Jesmond Dene House are currently recruiting for an experienced waiter/Supervisor who’s sole focus will be guest experience and guest satisfaction.

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager/Assistant Managers, this role will involve being attentive, highly focused and have impeccable standards as well as a keen eye for detail within a restaurant environment.

Previous experience essential, including wine service and a strong understanding of wine. Experience within events is also essential.

Due to the nature of hospitality, late evenings and weekend work are to be expected.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Maintaining service standards
  • Training and educating junior members of the team
  • Working alongside existing management team
  • Interacting and engaging with guests
  • Being a constant presence and support within the restaurant
  • Recognising upsell opportunities
  • Wine service and excellent tableside etiquette

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000.00 per year
