LONG TERM 10 MONTHS TEMPORARY ROLES IN NEWPORT (37 HOURS A WEEK)

Examination Support Officer

Duties:

1 (a) Action case movements and input data to system on a daily basis.

(b) Create and forward correct messages on system.

(c) Scan abstracts onto system using software.

2 Complete PAFS checking by end of month. Produce work returns on first working day of the month or as directed

3 (a) Issue reports within one working day.

(b) Action checklists accurately

4 (a) Respond to internal emails within 24 hours of receipt

(b) Answer telephones promptly giving name and group. Record and pass on message promptly and accurately.

(c)Provide administrative support where necessary.

5. Complete all statistical and other monthly returns accurately and by the appropriate deadline.

6. Apply the shared values (part of the core management values) in dealings with colleagues and senior managers

7. Prepare and issue reports within agreed customer service target.

Other Info:

This role will be carried out in-line with Hybrid working arrangements where staff are currently expected to attend the office 1 day per week, or equivalent if part-time, on-site at our Newport office

However additional time may need to be spent in the office during training. There are 8 weeks of planned training. ALL training will be conducted in person, and this will usually be 1 or 2 days at the start of a topic (usually Monday or Tuesday) with consolidation for the rest of the week, either at home or in the office.

Following training we would encourage candidates to discuss working arrangements with the recruiting manager to agree a reasonable balance between working from home and the office. The requirement for attendance at an office location can vary by role but is very unlikely to be less than 1 day per week.

You may be required to attend site for additional workshops, training and collaboration purposes.

£11.12 per hour.
