Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electronics Engineer with experience of electrical circuit boards and C++ programming skills to work Monday – Friday join a well-established company in design, manufacture and maintenance of energy management solutions based in Stoke on Trent.
This Electronics Engineer role is permanent position offering a salary up to £48k per annum dependent on experience. Working Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm (0900 – 1730) – 40 hours per week.
As Electronics Engineer, you will be working in a team of 12 reporting to the Operations Manager with the following responsibilities:
Electrical circuit design and development
Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors
Attending the technical meeting with suppliers during the design process
Writing C++ programming codes for the processor
Testing of circuit bords and making amendments to ensure they meet compliance
Developing component qualification processes for design environments
Provide technical inputs where possible
Maintain project design folders with detailed documentation of both the technical and proposal pricing
Propose mitigation strategies and opportunities to minimise such risk
Travel to France up to once per month maybe required
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
1 Degree in Electronic Engineering or minimum 5 years’ experience working as an Electronics Engineer or similar
Basic French would be an advantage
Good working knowledge of CAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project (Office), Internet, Intranet, E-mail (Outlook)
Experience of electrical circuit boards and C++ programming skills
