Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Matford Green Exeter, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a Team Leader to join the management team. You will provide professional leadership to the team and ensure that all children receive the highest standard of care and education.

What will you be doing:

  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
  • Ensure that nursery practices and provisions meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Undertake a shared responsibility for health safety and cleanliness
  • Ensure that planning meetings take place regularly
  • Identifying and addressing the individual training needs of staff
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
  • Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly and professional relationships with parents and carers
