We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Band 7 Diabetes Specialist Dietitian.

You will work within the Solihull Community Diabetes Service and be responsible for providing dietetic input to patients seen in Diabetes Specialist clinics, Nursing/Care homes as well as in patient's homes. You will work closely alongside the Diabetes Specialist Nurses and other members of the MDT to support and empower patients to improve their diabetes control and overall health.

The post holder will also be involved with delivering Diabetes Structured Education courses for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes as well as in house education diabetes training courses.

Excellent interpersonal skills will be essential as well as being highly organised and flexible with a strong passion for MDT working.

You will be an integral and valued member of the Diabetes MDT and wider Dietetic department, offering opportunities to share your clinical experience and improve and develop service provision.

Therapies give CPD a high priority and we would actively support the development of your knowledge in this area.
