Customer Service Consultant

About the role:

We have the opportunity for you to join something special. We are looking for a individual to join our brand new branch dedicated to our online customers and become one of the faces of Darlington Building Society.

This role gives you a chance to be part of building the new Savings Direct team asking your brilliant customer service skills while developing knowledge and experience in helping to make and shape the new processes we will be creating as part of this new team.

As a Customer Service Consultant, you will be engaging in conversations finding out your customers’ needs, providing information to our new and existing customers about the full range of financial products and services that we offer. Getting to know our customers though meaningful conversations over the phone and video chat, you will assist them in reaching their goals by identify the best products to suit their needs, while providing a clear, helpful service that meets the customer individual needs.

Your role will be an important part of our in our branch network based in our head office. Having valuable conversations with every customer, without them even needing to leave their home. So, whether you are promoting a new product or resolving a problem, you’ll always place our customers’ needs at the heart of everything you do.

We will provide you with continuous training and support as well as opportunities to grow and progress your career with within Darlington Building Society

To be successful in this position your will:

  • Have an experience providing customer service over the phone and/or virtually
  • Ideally of worked in Financial Services previously (however not essential)
  • Have experience of manging regulated products
