The ONE Group are working with a fast growing, PE backed business, who are looking for a site based Credit Control Manager to join them at their offices near Ely.
Due to recent acquisitions and a restructure within their finance function, they have an opening for an experienced Credit Control Manager, you will initially be the sole person in Credit Control but with planned growth, you will likely have the opportunity to get involved in bulking out and leading the function.
Ideally you'll have experience in managing and motivating a credit control team, as well as experience in implementing and improving credit control procedures.
You will be responsible for the overall credit control function ensuring that debtor days are monitored and maintained below a given level and ensuring overdue accounts are chased regularly.
Using your extensive experience, you will be able to work closely with the Head of Finance with regards to assessing risk and the implications. Beyond the day to day responsibilities you will also be required to prepare cases for legal action, including liaising with the courts in order to progress claims.
