This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months.
What it's like to work here:The Nymans and Standen portfolio is one of the busiest in the National Trust, attracting nearly 550,000 visitors each year. Nymans has a little bit of everything; a beautiful garden, woods, countryside, house and even a romantic ruin, a place where there is always something happening. Standen is an arts and crafts family home set in a beautiful hillside garden. The strong arts and crafts offering includes varied exhibitions, a modern arts programme and collaborations with local artists.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive team in an ever-growing portfolio, where no two days are the same.
You’ll be supported by the Senior Communications and Marketing Officer and the Trust’s wider regional marketing team.
There will be opportunity to explore hybrid working arrangements at interview. Normally travel to properties is needed one day every other week.
What you'll be doing:You’ll have responsibility for our social media marketing channels: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter where you’ll share captivating stories from across the portfolio. You’ll contribute to day-to-day marketing & communications activity, from making changes to our websites and writing engaging copy, to working on our seasonal campaigns and assisting in the production of printed marketing materials.
