As part of the firm's succession plans, they are seeking to appoint an experienced commercial property solicitor. Somone who is more than capable of managing their own caseload of mixed commercial property matters with very sound technical knowledge, competent in dealing with a broad range of commercial property matters. There will also be some oversight and supervisory aspects to the role regarding the firm's property team as the role develops.

The department's work includes acquisitions and disposals of all kinds of freehold and leasehold property, commercial leases, options, conditional contracts, promotion and other strategic land agreements and issues, overage, estate development and property management work.

In addition, the practice regularly assists with all aspects of commercial property finance for lenders and borrowers and provides expertise on unusual and complex land registration applications and disputes, stamp duty land tax, property litigation and planning matters.
