Commercial Finance Analyst, £40-45,000, Wetherby

Do you have a financial analytical background? Do you have experience of Management Accounts?

Our client is looking for someone who can provide analytical support and add value insight to the Finance Team, to support and articulate performance, ongoing budget and forecast process as well as identification and delivery on initiatives and projects.

Key Skills

• High levels of analytical skills

• Highly computer literate including advanced Excel skills.

• Knowledge of management accounting procedures - budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, journal processing etc

• Part Qualified/ Finalist/Newly qualified CIMA desired but not essential, can be qualified by experience.

• Flexible in approach to work with a tenacious, analytical and problem-solving mindset

Key Responsibilities

• Management & ownership of commercial financial data

• Preparation of management reporting for the business.

• Provide information for monthly, quarterly & annual financial reviews.

• Preparation of annual budget and rolling forecasts

• Provide ad-hoc and standard financial analysis & reporting.

• Support the business with decision making and working closely with the FD and senior leadership.

• Responsible for preparation & implementation of the pricing file to review with the Senior Management Team

• Assist with budgets/forecasting, sales reporting and analysis, margin analysis and profitability reporting.
