Salary: Up to £42,582 depending on skills and experience, 12 Months fixed term contract


What you’ll be doing:

  • Facilitating the delivery of effective Early Careers programmes
  • Monitoring and assessing learners against relevant standards in support of them attaining occupational competence
  • Recording / reporting of performance data effectively in support of delivering outstanding outcomes for learners
  • Coaching and developing learners through on-the job training activity, providing welfare support and career guidance to aid their progression, attainment and transition into the business
  • Ensuring safety and quality standards are embedded in all activities
  • Providing and monitoring effective safeguarding, SHE, welfare and support arrangements for learners whilst on Early Careers & Skills programmes

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Assessor qualification is essential for this role
  • HNC or above qualification in engineering
  • Have a broad, multi-functional focus, looking across the Early Careers portfolio of activity
  • Skilled professional with a track record of occupational competence
  • Effective coaching and mentoring skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Strong and effective interpersonal skills, specifically when dealing with welfare and safeguarding issues
  • The ability to communicate effectively
  • Business professional with occupational competence within given sector with a relevant qualification at Level 3, or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a complex administrative environment

The Early Careers team:

Vibrant team with a wealth of experience from different backgrounds from Rolls Royce to the RAF. Pastoral care, assessment of work, creating a relationship with the learners and developing & coaching them to reach their full potential as experienced engineers over their 5 year journey.
