About Jesmond Dene House
Jesmond Dene House is an award-winning 4 Red Star hotel with a Michelin Plate awarded Dining Room and bar, situated in a leafy suburb of Jesmond, 5 minutes from Newcastle-upon-Tyne City Centre. Overlooking the wooded valley of Jesmond Dene, this historic property contains 40 bedrooms, a restaurant, and banqueting and private dining facilities. Newcastle's only independent boutique hotel, Jesmond Dene House is an unusual combination of townhouse and country house in one.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a team member who is able to manage and run a small section within the kitchen. Having previous experience would be beneficial for this role. We are looking for someone with; passion, dedication and a love for food!

This job requires starting work at 6am and finishing at 3pm daily.

Key Responsibilities

· Have good organisational skills and comfortable working in a high-level pressured environment.

· To ensure the training and standards are always kept.

· Forward planning on Breakfast section controlling all main fridges and freezers to ensure all products entering and leaving the kitchens are to the set JDH standards

· To uphold the team SOP’s given to you

· To track, replenish and keep in date order the stock holding

· Follow and manage all HACCAP procedures with the kitchen management team

· Ensure All orders are checked and accounted for freshness and quality

· Run an organised efficient clean section

· Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, presentation standards.

Part-time hours: 36-42 per week

Salary: £11.11 per hour
