Job Purpose.
To ensure the efficient and effective management throughout the production process including sub-contract operations with particular emphasis on Quality documentation. The prime focus will be to deal with the CERN contract.
Key Accountabilities.
Work closely with the quality department to manage and expedite the filing and allocation to jobs of test certificates and quality documentation from both internal and external sources.
Ensure that Managers and Team Leaders are made aware of any issues and work proactively to resolve problems.
This is a varied role which will suit someone who enjoys working in an office as well as part of a Production Planning / manufacturing / engineering supply chain team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
20% of your time is physically inspecting components on the shop floor and 80% will be working in the MRP system and other admin – Material identification and control, route card analysis, BoM amendments, spreadsheet updating and label printing. (Training provided).
Stock Control / Product Manufacture
You will need to be proficient with Excel and ideally understand a MRP system/ report although full training will be provided.
Computer skills-basic knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office or similar.

Hours of work:
07.30 – 15.30 Monday – Friday
Salary up to £26,000 dependant on skills and experience.
