Are you a detail-oriented finance professional who is naturally analytical and always looking to understand the whys and wherefores?
If so, I have an interesting opportunity to join a leading technology business in Manchester in a busy Accounts Receivable role.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all invoices are raised and issued in a timely manner, with a regular review of sales orders to ensure accuracy. You will also be responsible for analysing and invoicing usage-based contracts, maintaining accurate data in the ERP platform, and raising credits by following the approvals workflow and carrying out checks prior to posting.
You will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Team with the annual audit via collating supporting documents. You will also investigate and resolve any enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, working closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication and resolution of any issues.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with and support the teams on process improvements, helping to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency. General administration and finance duties such as data cleansing and data input will also be a part of your role.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with experience in a finance operations/accounts receivable role. You should be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
